Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support during surgery and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Prepare surgical suites and ensure proper function of equipment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and response to anesthesia.
• Manage supplies and sterilize instruments for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the charge nurse to efficiently manage the workflow in the OR.
• Participate in rotating call schedules and respond to emergencies within a 30-minute call time.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and eligibility to practice in West Virginia.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is advantageous.
• Familiarity with a range of surgical procedures including Gen OB GYN, Neuro, and Vascular.
• Ability to scrub and assist in surgeries is a plus.
• Strong background in endovascular surgeries and ability to float within comfort zones.
