Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), or Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU with a focus on oncology and trauma patients.
- Administer medications, including chemotherapy and other titrated drips as required.
- Assist in patient assessments, developing care plans, and providing wound care.
- Perform hourly rounding to enhance the patient experience and ensure high-quality care.
- Float between units as necessary, maintaining the same level of care standards.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies, including nail and dress code standards.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license and ability to practice in Nebraska.
- 1 year of PCU or oncology unit experience preferred.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Experience with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring preferred, training available.
- Chemotherapy certification is preferred, not required.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams.
