Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Administer medication and titrate drips, including cardiac drips and insulin based on protocols.
- Utilize RT equipment and monitor respiratory status, including Vents, Cpap, BiPap, and High Flow systems.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and document progress using the EPIC charting system.
- Interpret and document telemetry monitor strips for accurate patient evaluation.
- Float to related units such as PCU and MedSurg as required, with a consistent nurse-patient ratio.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum two years of recent ICU experience.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Familiarity with handling and troubleshooting RT equipment.
- Competency in interpreting telemetry readings and titrating medication drips.
- Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
