Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate outcomes.
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, including adult and pediatric equipment.
- Document care in the electronic medical record system Cerner.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care support.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and management.
Qualifications
- North Carolina Respiratory License required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification mandatory.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- NRP certification preferred.
- Experience with GE R860 and Draeger Infant/Peds vents preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
