Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients during childbirth.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health using advanced equipment such as Beacon and Meditech/CPN.
- Assist in labor support interventions including versions, C-sections, and vaginal assisted deliveries.
- Ensure patient safety through effective communication with team members.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Foster a supportive and drama-free environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license.
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM - C or AWHONN.
- Proven ability to handle shifts with 1:1 to 1:2 ratios for L&D and 3:1 for postpartum care as per AWHONN guidelines.
- Experience with Meditech and/or CPN documentation systems preferred.
- Adaptable, flexible, and consistent personality with a commitment to teamwork.
