Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to laboring patients and support families during childbirth.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, utilizing advanced medical technologies.
- Administer medications and treatments in alignment with care plans and physician orders.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Meditech/CPN EMR systems.
- Participate in C-sections, versions, and vaginal assisted deliveries as needed.
- Educate patients and families about postpartum care and potential complications.
Qualifications
- Current valid RN licensure with 1-year of acute care hospital L&D experience.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required.
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR highly preferred.
- Postpartum nursing experience highly preferred.
- Ability to manage adaptable and consistent patient care in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills without drama.
