Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and mothers’ vitals, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team.
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including cesarean sections.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care accurately in the EPIC system.
• Float between like units as necessary to meet the needs of the healthcare facility.

Qualifications

• Active CA state RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Labor & Delivery unit.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card.
• Experience with EPIC charting systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Comfortable floating between similar units and adopting new environments quickly.
