Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PACU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients in phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure proper recovery post-surgery.
• Collaborate with medical team for trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic cases.
• Utilize RT equipment such as vents and BiPap as needed.
• Respond to call shifts as required with a 1-hour response time.
• Document patient information using the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years ED or ICU experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from AHA.
• Familiarity with recovery of ICU-level patients in PACU.
• Experience with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2.
• Proficient with reading and interpreting cardiac strips.
