Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients in high-risk labor and delivery settings.
Perform assessments, document patient progress, and develop care plans.
Administer medications including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate, and monitor patient response.
Assist in cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed.
Educate and support families during labor, birth, and postpartum care.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care delivery.

Qualifications

Current AK RN license in hand (pending licenses acceptable for submission).
Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate, and NRP required.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
Ability to float to like units within the facility as needed.
