Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic care and support to mothers and newborns.
Monitor labor progression and fetal heart rates using EFM.
Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including Cesarean sections.
Administer medications and manage pre- and post-delivery pain.
Educate patients and families about postpartum care and breastfeeding.
Ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment at all times.

Qualifications

Valid Alaska RN license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRP certifications.
Willingness to float to similar units as needed to meet facility demands.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support care teams and patients.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
