Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonates in a Level 3 NICU.
- Operate and monitor highly specialized equipment such as nitric oxide, jet, and oscillator ventilators.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when floating between departments.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability with schedules and assignments within the department.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through meticulous care strategies.
- Conduct accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.
Qualifications
- Current WA or compact state Respiratory Therapist license.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- 2 years of NICU experience with Level III or IV cases, including high-frequency ventilation.
- CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS. CRT or RRT required.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system experience.
- Ability to work every other weekend per scheduling needs and guidelines.
