Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Administer and titrate medications, including Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide post-operative care for patients from cardiac catheterization and CABG.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner charting system.
Qualifications
- Current RN license to practice in Arizona is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU setting is preferred.
- Must possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing.
- Experience with titration of common drips such as Insulin, Nitro, and Dopamine.
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
