Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit, managing patients with chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, and post-pacer care.
• Maintain a nursing ratio of up to 1:5, ensuring high-quality care and attention to patient needs.
• Titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, and apply NIHSS protocol.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists.
• Float to additional departments such as Tele or MedSurg as required to meet unit needs.
• Manage telemetry and interpret own cardiac monitor strips using Nihon Kohden systems.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license to practice in West Virginia.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Certification in telemetry interpretation and experience titrating critical drips.
• Understanding of EPIC and Sunrise EMR systems for patient documentation.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule including weekends.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills to manage care transitions efficiently.
