Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and manage related side effects.
- Coordinate patient care within an interdisciplinary oncology team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and care management.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the Epic Charting System.
- Perform telephone triage and patient assessments.
- Float between UCSF facilities as required, providing care in different units.
Qualifications
- Current CA RN License with AHA BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of oncology nursing experience, Med/Surg Onc preferred.
- 5 years overall RN experience required.
- OCN certification preferred.
- Experience with telephone triage and outpatient oncology required.
- Experience in teaching hospital settings required.
