Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and others.
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6/7 and provide care in a 30-bed unit.
Collaborate with charge nurses and healthcare aides to ensure optimal patient care.
Administer medications, including titrating heparin drips as necessary.
Utilize equipment like intermittent BIPAP and monitor telemetry systems remotely.
Adapt to floating requirements and adjust care based on census needs.

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Experience with charting systems such as EPIC preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Capable of working in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
