Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients with diverse medical conditions.
- Evaluate and treat patients in various hospital areas, including Acute, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehab.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patient recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively regarding patient progress.
- Ensure compliance with occupational therapy standards and hospital policies.
- Float between units as needed to meet patient care demands.
Qualifications
- Current WA state license in Occupational Therapy.
- At least 1 year of acute care experience required.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Strong skills in edema massage, functional splints, kinesiotaping, orthoplast, and static splints.
- Ability to work flexibly across various hospital units.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
