Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of the operating room.
• Manage the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare for surgeries by assembling necessary supplies and ensuring equipment readiness.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide intra-operative support to surgical staff as needed.
• Coordinate surgical team activities including time management and communication.
• Maintain a sterile operating room environment to ensure patient safety during procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Proficiency in orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgical procedures.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and maintain on-call availability as required.
