Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit, adhering to AWHONN guidelines.
• Perform basic and advanced fetal monitoring for gestational hypertension and diabetes patients.
• Administer and titrate Oxytocin, Insulin, and Epidural drips as required.
• Circulate and recover cesarean sections, providing comprehensive antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and OB techs to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC charting system effectively during all shifts, including weekend and holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the ability to work in West Virginia.
• Basic and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
• Experience in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care essential.
• Skillful in reading telemetry strips and responding to monitored patient needs.
• Commitment to completing 3-4 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule.
• BLS Certification required; BSN preferred but not mandatory.
