Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVOR to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-suite CVOR including three CVOR suites.
- Manage an average of 30 cases per day, including 1-2 open heart surgeries.
- Scrub in to assist with holding the heart and closing the chest during surgeries.
- Participate in call rotations, including one weekday per week and one weekend per month.
- Float to General OR as needed if no CVOR cases are scheduled.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience in open heart and/or endovascular procedures is essential.
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes to call with provided on-site accommodations.
- Willingness to float to other departments such as General OR if required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
