Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - CVOR Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of cardiovascular procedures in the CVOR unit, handling equipment and instruments as directed by the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all surgical equipment is functioning before procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries including robotics-assisted procedures.
• Support both cath lab and CVOR operations with readiness to assist in any vascular case openings.
• Participate in on-call duties for emergencies during evenings and weekends.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and other staff to ensure efficient unit operation.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; WA state license mandatory for all CVOR Techs.
• Preferred experience with robotics such as Divinci XI.
• Capable of handling 8-9 call days monthly; call response time must be within 30 minutes.
• Experience in handling standard cardiac cases and thoracic procedures is ideal.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including varied start times, with an emphasis on team collaboration.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
