Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Rapid Response to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide rapid response care to patients in emergent situations on the 4th floor at North Austin Medical Center.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio during shifts.
- Utilize comprehensive skills including EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and SVE competency.
- Perform C-Section circulation and other labor and delivery procedures.
- Operate equipment such as Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech EMR system as per guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Texas.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required.
- Two or more years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required.
- Competency in internal monitor placement preferred.
- Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred.
