Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide pre and post-anesthesia care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.
Administer critical care and monitor recovery for patients in the PACU.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Float between PACU, Surgery Center, and Anesthesia Clinic as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation for weekend and holiday coverage.
Ensure documentation is accurate and follows the charting protocol using Sunrise EMR.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of West Virginia.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is required.
Experience with patient ratios typical of Phase 1 and Phase 2 PACU settings.
Ability to interpret and act upon telemetry and vent management protocols.
Flexible with working hours to meet the unit's variable schedule needs.
