Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Endoscopy to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage specialized imaging catheters and stents during ERCP to treat bile and pancreatic duct issues.
- Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound processors, assisting with tissue biopsies in EUS procedures.
- Set up advanced electrocautery systems for EMR/ESD, effectively removing complex polyps or lesions.
- Handle specialized enteroscopy equipment for visualizing and treating small bowel conditions.
- Assist with endoscopic suturing and stent deployment for structural GI conditions.
- Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes according to SGNA standards.
Qualifications
- Current RN license valid for submission and acute care setting experience.
- Proficient in circulating and teching for EUS and ERCP procedures.
- Must pass an open-book exam on orientation Friday, achieving at least 90%.
- Strong understanding of EPIC charting systems.
- Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
- Willingness to adhere to hospital's fingernail policy for patient care roles.
