Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and manage transplant processes in accordance with facility protocols.
- Monitor patients for side effects and provide appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medications and treatments.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.
- Completion of ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (15.25 contact hours required).
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience, including bone marrow transplant exposure.
- Experience with CAR-T cell therapy preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records, specifically Meditech.
- Detail-oriented team player with a commitment to patient safety.
