Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a circulating nurse in a Level 1 trauma center.
- Assist in various types of surgeries including general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic surgeries.
- Ensure continuous patient care by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Float between shift times and to other UCH ORs as necessary.
- Fulfill on-call duties approximately three times per eight-week schedule.
- Maintain patient safety and high standards of nursing care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years OR experience with Level 1 or 2 trauma center exposure required.
- Current AHA BLS and CO or compact RN license required.
- Proficiency in using the Epic charting system is mandatory.
- Ability to circulate in emergency craniotomy cases.
- Experience with a wide range of surgeries such as abdominal, neurosurgeries, and gunshot wounds.
- Not open to first-time travelers; travel experience required.
