Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record initial patient assessment and set priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
- Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
- Develop and implement a measurable and individualized plan of care within established standards.
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpreting facts and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
- Implement and document timely interventions appropriate for patient needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license.
- Current BLS Certification from AHA required.
- Current ACLS Certification from AHA required.
- Current TNCC Certification required.
- Strong knowledge and skills appropriate for the age/type of the patient population served.
