Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Review profiles and engage in phone interviews conducted by the unit manager.
• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments, with approximately 25 treatments per day expected.
• Provide care for mostly adult patients, with some pediatric cases through the ED.
• Assist with intubations and perform setup for ventilators, bipap, and nebs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator skills and NICU experience, competent to manage bubble CPAP for patients 32 weeks and up.
• Participate in conscience sedation and cardioversion standby as needed.

Qualifications

• Current WA RT License required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Experience with strong Level 2 nursery; NICU experience required.
• Demonstrate ventilator skills and competence in managing respiratory equipment such as PB 980, Philips V60, and respironics Lumis.
• Must complete department-specific orientation; familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
