Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced Cath Lab.
- Provide proficient support in coronary diagnostic and intervention scrub and monitoring.
- Manage radiation protection and ensure proper use of radiation badge and equipment.
- Fulfill on-call duties including one weekend and weekly evening shifts as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure proper data entry in MAC Lab.
- Collaborate with a team of 2 cardiovascular technologists per lab to support 20 cases daily.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or similar setting.
- Certified in BLS, ACLS, ARRT, or RCIS with South Carolina license required.
- Proficient in diagnostic cardiac catheterization and intervention techniques.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Capability to handle emergency response duties during hurricane season.
- Radiation badge is mandatory and must be provided by the agency.
