Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients of all ages.
Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed.
Utilize Draeger ventilators and provide critical care respiratory support.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care conferences.
Maintain accurate records and documentation using EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT with state license required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
Experience with Draeger ventilators is required.
BLS and additional certifications such as ACLS, CPFT, NRP, PALS preferred.
Experience in level II trauma and acute care settings preferred.
Flexibility to rotate through all hospital areas, including NICU and Pediatric units.
