Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Circulate for ENT, General Surgery, Total joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Ortho, Plastics, Post-op, and Pre-op.
- Scrub for Vascular procedures and assist in maintaining sterile fields.
- Provide safe and effective care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Participate in patient assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system to document and manage patient information effectively.
- Participate in the call schedule as required, adjusting to staff availability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years operating room nursing experience with proficiency in Ortho and Spine.
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience with community hospital surgical cases across 40% inpatient and 60% outpatient settings.
- Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing for various surgical specialties including general and vascular surgeries.
- Epic charting system experience is mandatory.
- Ability to adapt to flexible shift scheduling and be on-call as required.
