Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor and delivery, including antenatal and postnatal support.
• Function in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery, ensuring continuous care of the newborn.
• Administer medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as per protocol.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage high-risk pregnancies and neonatal care.
• Perform accurate and timely electronic fetal monitoring using EPIC systems.
• Float to postpartum and antepartum units, as well as sister facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with eligibility to practice in Swedish facilities.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in high acuity and fast-paced labor and delivery settings.
• Current supervisory references and proof of required certifications upon submission.
• Certification in BLS and NRP is mandatory; ACLS and AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system and fetal monitoring is required.
• Must be able to circulate and provide newborn care, including eyes, thighs, and assessments.
