Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Administer blood products and necessary medications, including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate.
• Assist with circulatory duties during C-sections and high-risk deliveries.
• Operate specialized equipment such as epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including triage of obstetrical patients and administering epidural anesthesia.
• Float between various units, including Post-Partum and NICU, as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Proficient in handling labor, preterm labor, and postpartum patient care.
• Experience in performing sterile techniques and managing central lines (CVC/PICC).
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and with interdisciplinary teams.
