Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a 48-bed unit, ensuring adherence to nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-7 on days.
• Perform and monitor titratable drips such as heparin, bumex, and lasix; cardiac drip titration is not required.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, who take patient assignments as needed, to ensure seamless shift transitions.
• Work alongside patient care techs to manage vitals, bathing, feeding, and other routine care duties.
• Monitor telemetry with support from dedicated monitor techs, ensuring patient safety and rapid response to alerts.
• Adhere to scheduling protocols with every other weekend and holiday rotation expectations.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License with clinical experience in a MedSurg setting; BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience; open to first-time travelers.
• Proficiency in the use of EPIC charting system.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and float to similar acuity units as required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality care in an acute setting.
• Commitment to maintaining professional competence and continuing education.
