Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiologist.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate dose delivery.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
- Monitor patient condition and report any unusual occurrences to the physician.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for each treatment session.
Qualifications
- Current NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure.
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with Philips Ultrasound and GE Clinical Works equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Sunrise (Allscripts).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a clinical setting.
