Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical and neuro patients in a 33-bed, all-private room setting.
• Administer and manage PCA pumps, ensuring accurate medication delivery.
• Monitor patient conditions and coordinate with Charge Nurse and Patient Care Technicians.
• Execute care plans and follow safety protocols during shifts, including weekends and block scheduling.
• Participate in orientation sessions and adhere to facility dress code and procedural guidelines.
• Float to MedSurg units as required, maintaining patient care within skillset limitations.

Qualifications

• Current and unexpired Registered Nurse license applicable to the location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required.
• Experience with orthopedic patients and post-operative care is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work with IV Fluids & PCA pumps.
• Effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is mandatory.
