Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, diabetic complications, and pneumonia.
Administer and manage medications, including infrequent titration of drips like Heparin and Bumex.
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure effective patient care.
Assist with telemonitoring and respond to patient alarms in coordination with CCU staff.
Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to the navy blue scrub dress code.
Report within 30 minutes if placed on low census and expected to float as "helping hands" if needed.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license; can apply for the OR 90-Day Emergency License.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Experience in medical-surgical nursing with some pediatric patient care.
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled.
Familiarity with MEDITECH charting system.
Capable of working with CPAP, BiPap, and high-flow oxygen devices.
