Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients, especially in NICU settings.
- Utilize high frequency jet ventilators for patient support effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and diagnostics to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage and monitor oscillating ventilators and other specialized equipment.
- Adhere to all necessary clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of NICU and pediatric critical care experience.
- Current certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
- Proficient in handling high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators.
- Strong understanding of pediatric cardiac anomalies.
- Valid NC RRT license required at time of application.
- Experience with NICU, infants, pediatrics, and adults including adolescents.
