Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity setting.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and patient monitoring.
• Administer and manage emergency medications and interventions.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring personal attention and efficient care delivery.
• Perform special procedures associated with psychiatric emergency requirements.

Qualifications

• Current NC or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Room and Psychiatric Emergency Department settings.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI (on-site completion if not in hand).
• Proficiency in using EPIC for electronic medical records.
• Ability to effectively handle crisis interventions and manage assaultive behaviors.
• Experience with the legal aspects of behavioral health treatment and voluntary/involuntary commitments.
