Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Mammography Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography exams as ordered by a physician, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrate expertise in stereotactic biopsy procedures for effective and safe patient care.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation in EPIC.
- Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring privacy and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (M) Certification for Mammography Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Demonstrated experience with stereotactic biopsy procedures.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
