Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in PCU/IMC/Stepdown units focusing on cardiac telemetry and respiratory support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, myocardial infarction, and Acute Coronary Syndrome.
• Administer and manage advanced interventions such as BiPAP/CPAP, cardiac drips, and high flow nasal cannula.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
• Float between units as required by patient census and operational needs.
• Deliver patient-centered care emphasizing patient education and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in hand required at time of submission.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar healthcare setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and high acuity patient care required.
• Proficiency with the EPIC charting system.
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccines required with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only.
