Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed labor and delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:2.
- Collaborate with nursing team including charge and co-charge nurses for seamless shift transitions.
- Perform and circulate during C-Sections and manage TOLAC cases effectively.
- Utilize fetal monitoring equipment including Novii and JADA systems.
- Document patient information accurately in Meditech EMR.
- Adhere to all unit policies, including the attendance policy.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact license holder.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are required.
- Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring and SVE competency.
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a labor and delivery setting.
- Competency in internal monitor placement is advantageous.
- Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred.
