Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during labor and delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Perform the role of Baby Nurse during delivery, continuing care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide comprehensive neonatal care.
• Administer medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate as required.
• Float to postpartum/antepartum units and potentially other mother/baby facilities as needed.
• Ensure accurate electronic charting using Epic system and maintain compliance with AWHONN guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with active compact license honored at all Swedish facilities.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
• Current supervisory references and proof of required certifications at submission.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring system.
• Ability to circulate and perform detailed newborn assessments, including Vitamin K injections and eye care.
