Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled care during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning and delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Float between units as needed to meet facility demands.
• Delegate patient care tasks based on the experience and education of team members.

Qualifications

• At least two prior travel assignments in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, or Mother/Baby.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications; PALS required within 30 days of start if not held.
• Willingness to float to other units as needed.
• Understanding of AHCA requirements for Florida placements.
• AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite.
• Housing within 50 miles of facility secured prior to acceptance.
