Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive care pre-op, intra-op, and post-op through collaboration with surgical teams.
• Manage on-call duties, attending to any alerts or sudden case requirements.
• Monitor patient vitals and conduct assessments during surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Document patient information accurately within the EMR system Epic.
• Assist with setup and turnover of operating room equipment and instruments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Experience in critical access hospitals required.
• Valid MT or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Proficiency in using Epic electronic charting systems.
• Ability to circulate during C-sections and function in a fast-paced surgical environment.
