Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services for both NICU and PICU patients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Operate and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation equipment, including Servo I ventilators.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and attend emergency situations when required.
• Administer respiratory medications and treatments such as Albuterol and BiPAP.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a NICU or PICU setting.
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is mandatory.
• Active Virginia state or compact license must be in hand at time of application.
• Familiarity with Trauma Level I facilities and EPIC charting is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
