Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical and medical patients with varying diagnoses.
- Manage patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications safely and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate documentation and patient records management.
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and complete float checklists as required.
- Work every other weekend and night shifts with readiness to float as needed.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of North Dakota.
- BLS Certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
- Ability to read, confirm, and interpret telemetry strips.
- Experience in managing Cpap, BiPap, and hi-flow oxygen equipment.
- Strong clinical and communication skills necessary for effective patient care.
