Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide care for cardiac and vascular surgery post-operative patients including CABG, TAVRs, and heart transplants.
Manage patients undergoing procedures such as femoral bypass, angiograms, and amputations.
Titrate drips including Heparin, amiodarone, and Cardizem to achieve desired patient outcomes.
Collaborate with the Unit Charge Nurse and House Supervisors to ensure quality care 24/7.
Interpret telemetry strips in collaboration with cardiac monitor technicians (CMTs).
Engage in a rotating schedule including every other weekend with available overtime.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of West Virginia.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
Minimum of two years of cardiac/vascular nursing experience.
Proficiency with EPIC charting systems.
Ability to float between sister units in Heart and Vascular Institute.
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a complex care setting.
