Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a range of patient types including CHF, cardiac cath, CP, pneumonia, and chronic renal disease.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with charge nurses and CNAs to deliver comprehensive care.
• Conduct aerosols and EKGs for non-vented patients; manage BiPAP or CPAP in coordination with RT.
• Engage in a rotation for weekend and holiday shifts alongside permanent staff.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation and comply with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in a medical surgical setting preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR and telemonitoring systems.
• Flexibility to float to critical care with med/surg or stepdown assignments as needed.
