Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatments for approximately 9 evaluations and 16 treatments per day per therapist.
• Work with diverse patient populations including adult & pediatric ICUs, trauma, neuro, and oncology patients.
• Cover areas such as acute inpatient, acute rehab, and skilled outpatient care as required.
• Perform ADL evaluations and document justifications for next level of care transitions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams in a Level 2 trauma center setting.
• Adhere to all facility protocols including clocking in and out, and follow departmental dress code requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin state occupational therapy license prior to the 2nd Monday of the month.
• Strong communication skills and documentation capabilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in varied settings and cover different patient populations.
• Ability to collaboratively work with a rehab aide and a COTA on staff.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotational schedule.
• BLS (AHA) certification required; experience in a Cerner charting system preferred.
