Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PACU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the PreOp, Phase 1, and Phase 2 PACU settings.
• Ensure adherence to ASPAN guidelines to maintain optimal nurse-patient ratios.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and nurse aides to manage patient flow and care delivery.
• Operate and interpret Philips telemetry equipment for patient monitoring.
• Maintain readiness for call shifts, with a 30-minute response time requirement.
• Participate in unit meetings and contribute to departmental improvements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with ability to obtain West Virginia licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA certified).
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts including call duties.
• Comfortable working exclusively within the PACU without floating.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within interdisciplinary teams.
